Why do my radios comms have to remain family friendly?
Our goal is to maintain a family friendly, professional ecosystem that mirrors real-world aviation. Just like real life, pilots are expected to behave with professionalism at all times, when using the radio, or communicating with other humans (whether human or AI).
I'm not sharing my audio, and I would like to say creepy, weird, or disgusting things to my AI cabin crew, or co-pilot. Why is this not allowed?
First, please seek help.
Second, we use multiple cloud AI providers, including OpenAI, Azure, and others. Our agreements with these providers include contract clauses that we will filter profane, vulgar, and other similar content.
Finally, keep in mind that this is an aviation themed product, and all usage of this platform must be done in accordance with that theme. In other words, "adult" conversations are outside the scope of what allow or provide as part of our product offering. We recommend you use other services if this is what you're after.
Why can't I simulate hijackings, murders, or similar scenarios?
As you can imagine, in a post 9/11 world, pilots who are simulating such activities tend to get the attention of law enforcement at federal and global levels. We cooperate fully with law enforcement, and your information will be turned over to them immediately upon request. Therefore, any threats of violence, terrorism, or simulation of illegal activities will also result in the immediate termination of your account.
Simulating normal aviation emergencies is allowed, assuming you are not trying to simulate the death or a crew member, or any other person.
The AI gave me a warning for profanity, then auto-muted my multiplayer comms. But it made a mistake, as I didn't say anything inappropriate.
This happens from time to time, and it's no problem. (You're not in trouble). Just go to your pilot portal, and click "Reset" next to the warning, and your account will be returned to good standing.
If it happens multiple times, we will review the audio ourselves, before taking any action.
My account was terminated for violating these policies. Can I request a refund?
If your account is terminated for violating this policy, you will not be entitled to any refunds.
