CABIN CRISIS IS NOW AVAILABLE TO ALL PREMIUM SUBSCRIBERS AND ENTOURAGE CUSTOMERS!
Use AI to introduce real-world aviation difficulties into your next flight!!!!
Q: What is Cabin Crisis?
A: In-Flight Exceptions are a way to help keep your flight both interesting and realistic, by randomly injecting an AI-generated situation into your flight that requires you to respond, thus testing your aviation, piloting, and decision making skills in unique and interesting ways.
Q: How do I enable Cabin Crisis?
A: Go to Settings, Misc. and set the crisis odds to something other than "Off". Note that if you choose a "percentage", you are deciding the mathematical probability that your flight will experience some sort of operational exception. For example, if you choose "50%", then there is a 50/50 chance your flight will experience a problem.
Q: When should I change this setting?
A: You can change it any time during flight, but the number of possible types of exceptions gets smaller as the flight progresses. For best results, set this prior to starting your flight.
Q: Can I cause a crisis to occur whenever I want?
A: If you want to cause a cabin crisis to occur NOW, you can click the "Trigger Crisis" button on the bottom-right corner of the app. Note that this button is available once per flight, and only while you're in the air. Also, this button will only appear if you've enabled Cabin Crisis using the steps above.
Q: What kinds of exceptions might occur?
A: Here are a few examples:
- Passenger is sick: You will need to talk to the cabin crew to figure out if it requires a diversion.
- Unruly Passenger: Work with the cabin crew to negotiate a solution. Contact your airline operations center to arrange to have the police at the gate on arrival.
- Passenger Harassing a Crew Member: Step in if you need to, but you may also consider asking ATC to have the police waiting for you when you land.
- Medical Emergency: Someone is experiencing a life-threatening condition that may require you to land immediately. (Thousands of different variants are included).
These are just a few examples!!! Thousands of scenarios with tens of thousands of variations are supported, resulting in more than TEN BILLION possible situations!
