All about the callsign

First and foremost - go to the Settings / Identity page and fill the fields for example as follows:

First field: Aircraft Type
Second Field: Registration

Long and short callsign (We recommend to write the numbers in letters instead of numbers!)

If you fly VFR or IFR without a simbrief flightplan, SI will use the Callsign when it is communicating with you.

When you file a simbrief flightplan and want to be called by the airline name and the correct callsign then you should fill the 3 mentioned fields as in the screenshot below. Make sure to use ICAO Airline Codes. If you are flying for a Virtual Airline, you can contact our staff and we will integrate the Airline Name and the 3 letter code to our system.

Example:

Airline: EWG (Eurowings)
Flight Number: 4012
ATC Callsign: EWG8HB

In this case ATC will call you Eurowings eight hotel bravo.
