Why do I only see generic MSFS / Asobo aircraft and liveries?
If you only see generic aircraft or default Asobo liveries instead of real-world airlines and aircraft types, this usually means AI traffic models cannot be injected or matched correctly.
This guide helps you verify that:
Your system security (antivirus / firewall) is not blocking SayIntentions.AI
The SayIntentions.AI client and sidecar components are correctly installed
Your model libraries are not broken or missing

✅ Prerequisites (Important)
Before starting, please do the following:
Close the SayIntentions.AI client
Close your simulator (Microsoft Flight Simulator)
? Goal of this guide
To ensure that:
SayIntentions.AI can communicate properly
AI traffic can be spawned and controlled
Aircraft models and liveries can be matched correctly
II.1 Antivirus – Add an exclusion
Your antivirus software may block SayIntentions.AI background processes.
What to do:
Add a folder exclusion (not a single file!) for:
⚠️ Important:
Make sure you add the entire folder, not just one executable inside it.
II.2 Firewall – Allow all SayIntentions.AI components
Your firewall must allow SayIntentions.AI to communicate over the network.
Add Public Network permissions for the following files:
If this file exists, also add:
II.3 Sidecar Updater – Verify background components
The Sidecar and Dispatcher are required for AI traffic injection.
Run the Sidecar Updater
Go to:
Double-click:
Nothing will appear on screen — this is normal ✅
Check Dispatcher installation
After running the updater, verify that this file exists:
If it exists:
Add it to your Firewall exceptions (see II.2)
If it does not exist:
Run
sidecar_updater.exeagainRe-check your antivirus exclusions
II.4 Temporarily disable external model libraries
A broken or outdated model library can prevent AI aircraft from spawning.
Create a disabled folder
Create a new folder called:
Place it on the same drive as your Community folder
(to avoid long move times)
Example:
Community →
C:\MSFS\CommunityDisabled →
C:\Community_disabled
Move model libraries out of Community
Move (cut & paste) any AI model libraries into Community_disabled, such as:
FSLTL
AIG
FS Traffic
Steps:
Right-click the model library folder → Cut
Go to
Community_disabledRight-click → Paste
Why are we doing this?
This test forces MSFS to use built-in default models only.
If AI traffic starts working after this:
One of your external libraries is likely corrupted
You can re-enable them one by one later
⚠️ Important reminder
If you previously disabled MSFS default or generic aircraft packages, you must re-enable them.
If you’re not sure what that means — you can safely ignore this step ?
III. Installing model libraries (Required for real liveries)
To see real-world airlines and correct aircraft types, you must install at least one external model library.
SayIntentions.AI does not include aircraft models — it matches traffic to what you have installed.
Supported model libraries include:
FSLTL
AIG (AI Manager)
FS Traffic
MTL (IVAO)
✔️ You only need one
✔️ Installing multiple increases matching accuracy
✔️ More models = more real-world liveries
After installing:
Restart MSFS
Restart SayIntentions.AI
Re-enable the libraries in your Community folder
? Summary
If you only see generic MSFS / Asobo aircraft:
Close MSFS and SayIntentions.AI
Check Antivirus exclusions
Verify Firewall permissions
Run the Sidecar Updater
Temporarily disable model libraries
Install at least one external model library
Restart everything
If the issue persists after these steps, open a support ticket with your logs — this helps us quickly identify what’s blocking AI traffic on your system.
✈️ Happy flying!
