Editing Basics: View Mode

The most basic mode in TaxiTuner is the View Mode. In this mode you are free to move the map around, zoom in, zoom out, and hover the mouse pointer over items to reveal their names. Here are some tips for using this mode:

1) Map Tools 

        -Zoom in and out (note zooming can also be accomplish by using the scroll wheel when the pointer is within the

            map region.

       -Fullscreen/normal toggle

       -Map Type - Drop down menu to choose the type of map overlay (satellite, street view)

2) Mouse Hover

        -Hover the mouse pointer over a taxiway to reveal the taxiway's name

        -Hover the mouse pointer over a runway to reveal the runway's name

3) Mouse Click

        -Click on a Gate/Stand/Park marker to reveal it's name (be sure to make sure that Show Parking Spots is checked)

4) Mouse Drag

        -Click and drag on the map to move it.

        -Click and drag off the map (on the interface) to scroll the web window up or down
