Editing Basics: Create Mode

In the Create Mode you can create new taxiway segments. This can be very useful for adding missing taxiways or redefining improperly placed taxiways. 

To create a new taxiway, click on any existing node (green dot) and move the mouse pointer away from the dot to "drag out" the new segment. Each time you click the mouse, a node will be added and you can continue "drag out" more segments. When done, right click to end the current chain of taxiway segments.

To start creating a taxiway on an existing segment rather than a node, you can hold down the SHIFT key to reveal a red node which can be positioned on a segment. Clicking on the red node will split that segment into two segments. You can then create a new segement by clicking on this newly created node.
