This document is to guide users in making sure AI Traffic is working correctly.

Please note that you will cease to hear the AI ATC communications after 10 minutes if your aircraft isn't moving (your communications with ATC are still working)

I. Validating AI Traffic is working

I.1 Configuring the SI Client

I.1.a Disable all Multiplayers options 

I.1.b Only enable Traffic (no Additional Chatter)

I.1.c Disable Experimental settings

I.2 Starting the simulator

Spawn with the default Cessna 172 at Zurich Airport, in sim time 1655Z

Tune to Ground frequency 121.905

• Make sure your SI client is looking like this :

• We want : 

  • COM1 : Green and set to 121.905

  • Aircraft Icon : Green and showing values similar to these ones

Other places you can try to validate traffic :

- EGLL, in sim time 1645 ZULU

I.3 Validating AI Traffic

You should rapidly start to hear Pushback requests followed by Taxi requests.
If you look around or monitor with Little Nav Map, you should see the AI aircrafts moving around :

If after following the above procedure: 

- you don't hear nor see anything

AND/OR

- the Aircraft Icon is not showing in the SayIntentionsAI client or it is of a different color than bright green

II. Troubleshooting the AI Traffic installation

Prerequisites :

- Close the SayIntentionsAI client

- Close your simulator

II.1 Antivirus

Add an exclusion on the SayIntentionsAI folder

C:\Users\<your username>\Roaming\SayIntentionsAI\SayIntentionsAI

/!\ Please make sure you added the folder, not a file /!\

II.2 Firewall

Add authorizations for the SayIntentionsAI executables on the Public Network

C:\Users\<username>\Roaming\SayIntentionsAI\SayIntentionsAI\SayIntentionsAI.exe

C:\Users\<username>\Roaming\SayIntentionsAI\SayIntentionsAI\sidecar_updater.exe

C:\Users\<username>\Roaming\SayIntentionsAI\SayIntentionsAI\sidecar\si_sidecar.exe

C:\Users\<username>\Roaming\SayIntentionsAI\SayIntentionsAI\skynet\skynet.exe

If file exists, also add :

C:\Users\<username>\Roaming\SayIntentionsAI\SayIntentionsAI\dispatcher\si_dispatcher.exe

II.3 Sidecar Updater

Running the Sidecar Updater :

• Go to C:\Users\<username>\Roaming\SayIntentionsAI\SayIntentionsAI\

• Run (double click) the sidecar_updater.exe program (nothing will appear on screen)

Check the installation of Dispatcher :

• The file si_dispatcher.exe  should now be available under C:\Users\<username>\Roaming\SayIntentionsAI\SayIntentionsAI\dispatcher\

• Add the corresponding authorization in your Firewall (see II.2 Firewall)

II.4 Deactivating Model Libraries

Remove any model library you installed from your Community folder to make sure a corrupted install is not preventing the AI aircrafts injection :

• create a _disabled directory out of your Community folder*

• move your model libraries into the _disabled folder

  • Right Click the model library folder > Cut

  • Go to the _disabled folder > Right Click > Paste

* keep the _disabled folder on the same drive as the Community folder to avoid long moving time, 

so if your Community folder is in  C:\....\Community, make sure your _disabled folder is on the C:\ drive
